Henry Paul  Kukonu
Henry Paul (Junior) Kukonu, 61, of Waianae died March 24 at Queen’s West Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and raised most of his life in Kaneohe. He was an accomplished Solo Drummer who also played along with another drummer for the band “War”, at the Hawaii Summer Jam concert in 1975. Formerly employed by Hina Mauka as a Peer Specialist. He also was an Army Veteran. Services will held on May 20,2016 at St. John the Baptist church in Kalihi. Viewing will be at 8:30 to 11am and will be followed by Mass services. Burial will be at a later date. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Shirley (Steve) Torres of Hilo and Lucette L. Kukonu of Honolulu. Also by 6 nephews, 3 nieces and numerous great nieces and nephews. Casual attire and flowers are welcome.
