Condolence: Oh my god, I was Jesse best Friend as we grew up together with Eugene Thompson in the South Bronx. We practiced martial arts together for years. Jesse was the best friend I ever had, and I have tried several times to reach him. I tried social media, and I found his photo once. How did he die?! He and I joined the Marines together. I went in first and that decision has changed my life for the better thanks to Jesse. Before his name change he was known as Jesse Gresham. He loved judo he and trained under Sensi Perria at Tremont Karate club. I took Karate and we would teach one another what we learned after class. Those were some of the best years of my life with Jesse. I have been missing him for a long long time. I met his wife once in Hawaii, I thought he moved from Hawaii. I stayed in the Marines for 22 years and retired. The world lost an amazing man. He was very special to me one I have missed with all my heart. May Jesse rest in peace. If someone from the family would please give me a call 864-804-2573. I would love to meet his children at the minimum and find out how my best friend died.

my deepest sympathy,

Warren R. McCray
He was a little brother to me. I loved this man.

Condolence: It is much sorrow that I send this message to you and your family. I am saddened and sorry for your loss. Jesse and I were truly great friends in the 80's. We were stationed together while in the Marine Corps and were pretty much inseparable throughout our tour. Although it has been nearly 30 years to the day since I left Hawaii I think of my friend quite often, in fact, every time I pull up my sock because of a tattoo two silly teenagers decided to get on their ankle as a symbol of their friendship. I have tried to find Jesse over the years on line with not much luck, I have seen some of the wonderful photos he took but that was about it. I would like to share some stories and photos and hear about Jesse's life. I would imagine he is so proud of you and his beautiful daughters. In life, sometimes we are fortunate for that one person to enter and you share something wonderful, you stand a little taller, and because of the person the days and little brighter as well. That's the Jesse I knew and will always remember. No words can express the sorrow I feel for your loss.
