The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Darryl Goodreau can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Darryl Allan Goodreau, 57 of Pahoa, Big Island of Hawaii passed away at 8:30 am Sunday, My 28, 2017 in Makaha, Oahu, Hawaii. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii at Tripler Army Medical Center. Darryl attended Leilehua High School in Wahiawa and resided in Pahoa for the past 26 years, where he made a living making Pastele's and other business adventures. Darryl enjoyed his plants and had a green thumb.

Surviving are three brothers, Donald Armand Lopes of Waianae, HI, Derek Lopes of Las Vegas, NV, and David Lopes of Kaneohe, HI; two sisters, Tracy Ching of Kaneohe, Somkhit Hengkhunthod of Tailand, Ellen Figueroa- Hueuaa of Wahiawa and many aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceding him in passing are his parents Jane Lopes and Donald "Birdman" Lopes, Grandparents who raised him, Frances and David " Butch" Goodreau, and his beloved wife Nancy Goodreau.

There will be no public viewing.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Oahu at Zablan / Forac Beach Park in Nanakuli (Subland) from 2pm - 7pm.
Casual attire (rubber slippers preferred) bring your own beverage, potluck - all as per Darryl's request.
A scattering of ashes will be held in Pahoa on the Big Island on Sunday, July 16, 2017.
