The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Manu can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: manu and I met strangely and talked often at the

bar in punaluu. I was in the navy and brought coffee to the bar, went sailing with him and he let me use his house (so he could stay with sherry). this was in the early 70's. I regret not going back to see him because he was the perfect person to exemplify the hawaiian hospitality. I have tried, in many situations to be as amicable and kind to visitors as he was.
I will always miss him
