Obituary for Dorothy Umeyo Viviano

Dorothy Sakata Viviano, 95 a long-time resident of the Honolulu, San Jose and Sacramento area, died on Nov. 9 at Manor Care Healthcare Center.
Born in 1921, Dorothy Viviano was a successful restaurateur with her husband Frank Viviano. Together with other family members they owned a hot dog stand, a famous restaurant called Ciro’s in which President’s of the United States visited them and the Merry Monarch Restaurant in Wakiki.
Burial & Services: 11:30am Thursday, Dec. 1 @ Punch Bowl with Husband Frank Viviano. Casual Attire. Ballard Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
