He was born in Hilo, Hawaii.

He is survived by his wife: Princess Kuahiwinui

Sons: Keula, Maluhia Jr, Ahiena and Lono Kuahiwinui
Daughters: Kawehi and Kuupua Kuahiwinui and Kalehua Lindsey.

Mom: Keely Tucker
Dad: Solomon Kuahiwinui

Brothers: Makua Kuahiwinui, Aaron Williams and Kaelen Katana
Sisters: Liliy Crowd and Dawn Kuahiwinui

Grandmothers: Cecilia Kuahiwinui and Marrion Orstein
