Velvet Lyn Tobias, 54 Passed away on Monday May 15, 2017 at Queens Hospital West Oahu. Velvet was born October 13, 1962 in Fayetteville North Carolina, and has resided in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii for the past 40 years. She was a Loving wife, sister, mother, auntie, grandmother, and friend.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 35 years, Clyde Tobias, sisters Melody L. Beyma and Crystal Fukumitsu; brother Stanley L. Beyma Jr., daughters Ashley Greene Tobias and Mikela Omerod, son Joshua M. Tobias, (Sgt, US Army), son–in- law Aaron Omerod, daughter-in-law Anela Tobias and her grandchildren; Alapai and Kalike Greene, Nalani, Anuhea, and Aukanai’i Tobias, Kainalu, Temana, and Tiare Omerod.

Memorial Service will be held at the Old Kona Airport at 10:00am on June 17, 2017, casual attire is welcomed. Celebration of her life to follow at 74-5055 Hanahanai Loop, Kailua-Kona 96740 (Stas’ Hale). Ashes to be spread privately at a later date.
