Condolence From: Kali Watson
Condolence: My sincere condolences to George's ohana. George was a very special person that I'll always remember with admiration and fondness. He was my mentor when I first started out in law. He taught me how to work hard, know your stuff and be able to competently perform. But what I liked the most about him was his friendly and quick laugh. He helped guide DHHL through many legal challenges, but was always thinking of its native Hawaiian beneficiaries and how best to fashion an approach that made sense legally and move the program along. We all owe George a lot for his contributions to making Hawaii a better place. Malama pono George. You will be missed.
