Daniel "Dan Boy" Kawaonahele Pawn was born on May 8, 1958 and raised in Hau'ula, Hawai'i. He passed away on December 25, 2018 in Kahuku, Hawai'i. He was the son of the late William Pawn Sr. and Dorothy Pawn and the 6th child of 13. As a young boy growing up in Hau'ula he attended Hau'ula Elementary School.
